Motor Vehicle Operator-Heavy - DOA

The State of Wisconsin Department of Administration is recruiting for two Motor Vehicle Operator-Heavy positions. I would appreciate your assistance in making our needs known to qualified individuals. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join a team that strives to exceed the expectations of our customers by providing efficient, high-quality state government services.  The Division of Enterprise Operations is looking for candidates for two Motor Vehicle Operator-Heavy vacancies. The positions will be located at 202 South Thornton Avenue, Madison, WI 53703.  This position will provide incoming Inter-Departmental (Inter-D) mail, USPS mail, sensitive mail, hazardous mail processing and distribution to several state agencies. This position will verify and accept responsibility of incoming receipts for multiple types of mail and critical documents. This position will recognize and follow procedures when handling hazardous material or suspicious mail. This position will perform Pre-Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on assigned vehicles and maintain associated logs and checklists and provide a clean and safe work environment.  Due to the nature of this position, employment will require a background check. A valid driver’s license is required.  Starting hourly salary is $11.949, plus excellent benefits.
